The McKee Clock

Situated at the foot of High Street in the Marina’s sunken gardens stands The McKee Clock, built in 1915 by John McNeilly from stone that was quarried at Ballycullen, near Newtownards.  The clock was named after William McKee who was the local rate collector in the early 1900’s he donated £200 (a very large sum of money at the time) towards its construction.

A very popular meeting place in Bangor for the towns people and visitors alike.
