Anyone with an interest in history won’t want to miss visiting Grey Point Fort, situated in Helen’s Bay you will find one of the best preserved early 20th century coastal forts anywhere in the British Isles, the Fort houses two spectacular guns which commanded the entrance to Belfast Lough and played a vital part in defending navel attacks as well as German air attacks that took place on the city in 1941.

Volunteers have created an unusual hands-on museum of military memorabilia, including medals, uniforms, photographs and weaponry from the First and Second World Wars.
